Showering in cereal

Kels was in such a great mood today. But as usual she got hungry and cranky. I made her a big bowl of rice cereal mixed with baby applesauce. That made her day - although I couldn't shovel it in fast enough. I had just put a huge spoonful in her mouth and she got 'that face'. I couldn't react fast enough and I should have ran. She sneezed as if holding it in for days. I'm pretty sure people two blocks away could have heard it. Cereal sprayed everywhere! Somehow we were both covered from head to toe. She giggled and then I laughed. It was disgustingly awesome!

The beginning + 6 months

Welcome Peeps & Bloggsters!!! Its true, I finally got sucked into the fun-filled world of (dum, dum, dum...) BLOGGING!!! I don't know all the lingo or tricks yet but I'm learning. Dustin, aren't you proud?!? Either that or insulted that I just mentioned you in this amateur beginning. :)
I started writing in a journal for Kels just after I found out I was pregnant. (Someday I'll post all my entries on here.) Now I just feel stupid. Its like sending a letter snail-mail when e-mail is one click away. Technology is amazing and I'm so glad to have found a way to share everyday moments with all our friends and family.

Kelsie will be 6 months old next week and I seriously can't believe how fast time flies! She has changed and grown so much. The above pictures were just taken last Wednesday. It was after work and both girls were pretty tired. After 3 1/2 hours these were what we got. The most amusing part wasn't trying to get the girls to cooperate and like each other for more than two seconds, it was listening to the photographer make the most insane noises and watching Brittany do jumping jacks behind her. All for a half-awake smile. I can't make too much fun of them though. I do some pretty amazing things to make Kels giggle. And when she does, that's what makes life great!!!
