Ele-phant

Kelsie has had this obsession with elephants since, like, forever. I think we own every stuffed animal elephant that was ever created. Everything from pocket sized key chain elephants to bigger than Kelsie elephants. Well "elephant" is kind of a hard word for a little girl to say. She's always said "enent". Up until the other day. She came home saying "ene-phant". Oh man, I about died! So I called Larry in the room and had her tell him. We both gave her praises and clapped. Then about 5 minutes later, Larry turned to me and said "I blame you. Its all your fault." Huh? What? Then he said "when I talk to her I say enent. But you always say elephant. I like enent."
Seriously, so cute!

Great-Grandma Jennis

While in Roosevelt we went over to visit Kelsie's Great-Grandma Jennis (Jerry's mom). Teresa, Robert, Lori, Dustin & Rhett were all there too. I feel bad we don't see them more often. Kelsie had so much fun playing there. She almost ate a whole can of flavored popcorn and the boys taught her how to play the piano. :)

Roosevelt / Sledding

We went to Roosevelt after Kelsie's birthday for a fun weekend vacation. My dad got his 4-wheelers and the sleds out and we had a BLAST in Neola. I think we originally said "lets take the little girls sledding" but then it turned out tons more fun for us big kids. :)

Imagine Brittany behind the wheel and my mom behind the camera. The combination was almost deadly for Kelsie, Kailee & I in the sled. Seriously I don't know how the heck we didn't wipe out. Obviously mom didn't realize that she had pushed record on the camera. The audio absolutely cracks me up!!!!!!!!

This was Dustin behind the wheel and me behind the camera. Mom, Brittany & Kailee were all in the sled. Although I think by this point Kailee was dead asleep. Until...

"We lost Grammy!!!" She was trying to snowboard in the sled.

I ended up staying a whole week in Roosevelt for work. It was so nice. Dustin played with Kels during the day while I worked. Mom made dinner and dad would rock Kels before bed time each night. Totally like a vacation for me! Dustin was such a trooper with Kels. The first day I told him that I would come home on my lunch break and bring lunch and then put Kels down for her nap. Well, about half hour before lunch I got a text from Dus that said "be quiet when you come home cuz I already got Kels to sleep." SHEESH- he conquered the almost impossible! Then one of the days she had an ultra diaper blow-out and he had to get her in the tub but never once did I hear him complain. Thanks Dus! We love U!!!
