Sunbeam CTR
Kels is now officially a Sunbeam! Fortunately there are only 2 or 3 sunbeams in our ward so they combined classes with the CTR age kids. Which means that Kels & Kailee can be in the same class. I knew she wouldn't last without me but I thought I'd at least give it a try. So I sent her in and then listened with my head glued to the door. At the beginning of class the teacher let each kid have talking time. Kels said something about me paining her nails. Kailee ratted me out and said that her auntie let her stay up past midnight (only on new years eve but she left that part out). Then Kels started to notice that I wasn't there and began to loose it, so I joined the class. Then each kid got a chance to say what they want to be when they grow up. Kailee said a princess and then it was Kelsie's turn. She thought about it for a while (I thought she would have copied Kailee) but she replied with "A GHOST"! The teachers both looked at me and I just shrugged and giggled. Here is her first CTR ring. Doesn't it look SO cute on her?!?!

Party with the Yacks
On Sunday Kelsie spent the day with the Yacks where I'm guessing she opened more presents, and ate plenty of cake & cheetos. All of her favorite things!

Bowling
Saturday (1-1-11) we took Kelsie bowling. Fat Cats bowling & pizza is my favorite and we all had SO much fun! I love this picture- its Brittany putting on Kelsie's first pair of bowling shoes. I have always thought that bowling shoes are so ugly but seeing them on Kels has officially changed my mind.

The picture below is my new favorite-favorite-favorite picture of Kelsie ever!!!

Then after bowling you'll never guess what we did. Yep, Kelsie opened more presents.

Then we played in the arcade. Kels loved skee ball. The thought the holes you roll the balls into looked like Mickey Mouse.

Then we went back home, sang happy birthday again and ate more cupcakes!

Birthday Party-Party-Party
The party never stopped on Kelsie's birthday. Unfortunately I had to work that day but I ended up leaving early so I could get some last minute things wrapped while Kels was still napping. As soon as she woke up, the party began. She opened a few presents at home and then we headed up to Mazee's house for more fun.

Nothing says a good time like cleaning up 100 pretend food pieces. Oh well, now we can really play restaurant!
Kels was feeling shy (go figure) and Cory was feeling left out (go figure) so we lit candles for both of them. Just kidding. Actually they share a birthday... :)

Then she got to open more and more and more presents...

Brittany gave Kels a Burg Pediatric Dentistry cape which she wore pretty much all night. She would dart from one room the next saying "superman to the rescue"!!!

Gram gave Kels this silky pink jammie/dress thing and Kels twirled and twirled. Its her new favorite thing to wear.
Mazee gave Kels the complete DVD set of Shirley Temple movies.
After a while every one started to leave. I said to Kels "tell every body thank you for all your presents" and she replied with "no thanks, I'm full". AWESOME!Then we went downstairs and started to watch some Shirley Temple clips. The girls were having a blast and so hyper. Time went by so fast and before we knew it it was almost midnight. We switched the TV over and watched the new years countdown. I wish so bad I would have got it on video because we were all yelling 5-4-3-2-1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
