Busy JULY

Wow, its been a busy month and I have been a major slacker in the blogging world. Actually believe it or not I actually haven't taken very many pictures. I know, I'm a disgrace! Here's a quick overview of whats been happening...
July 3rd was the Oakley PRCA rodeo. Kels was entertained at first but got bored about half way through. She loved watching all the horses and wanted to ride them so bad. The girls wore their matching cowgirl shirts as seen a couple posts below. They both looked adorable! Kels wore Kailee's old cowboy boots that were about 2 sizes too big. They looked cute and everything was fine until she kicked one off and it fell under the bleachers. UGH! Luckily someone down there spotted it and then noticed a crazy one-year-old above without a shoe and handed it up. How nice!
We got home pretty late that night but woke up early the next morning for the lovely July 4th redwood road parade. Thank goodness Brittany and I put chairs out the day before because it was complete madness! Suzy and Jerry were in town and joined us for the festivities. :) The girls really loved it. There's just something about being able to run in the road and grab candy that's being thrown at you. I think Suzy took lots of pics. I'll see if I can get some from her and add them here later. We left the parade a little early because it got so hot and the girls were super tired. After nap time, we loaded up and headed to the beautiful Snowbird. Man, I love it there! I think everyone was excited to be there.
The week kind of started out so crazy. We wanted to take family pictures so I hooked up my camera and used the remote. Its pretty handy but little girls can't quite figure out why they need to stare at a camera smile randomly. They do much better when someone is doing jumping jacks in front of them and saying cheese! So the pics turned out ok but could've been better. I really do so much better behind the camera instead of in front of it. :)
Monday was my grandpa Hal's 80th birthday. We surprised him with balloons and noise makers (us) in the lobby and sang happy birthday. Then we all went upstairs and ate his favorite dinner.
Wednesday Steph and the gang came up to visit. It was fun having them there. Rachel decided to stay with us a while since she was 8+ month prego and not working. Snowbird is so much cooler than the city in the middle of July. WELL, I guess the altitude finally got to her because Friday morning a little before 5:30 am she woke me up because her water had broke. She was shaking and terrified and having contractions like crazy. I ran down and got the car and grabbed a wheelchair from the lobby and before we knew it we were flying down the canyon. I was so praying we'd make it to the hospital in time and luckily we did. Little Londyn was born at 2:47. She is so adorable and has tons of hair. I'm so glad that we have this new little generation of kids to play together. (Kailee, Krew, Kelsie, Kale & Londyn) Rachel, did you miss the memo that her name was supposed to start with a K???
These are just a bunch of random pics. I'm loving summertime! The girls love to play outside so much!!
