I planned a huge party for Kelsie's 2nd birthday. It was (her favorite) strawberry shortcake themed. It was held at our clubhouse and I thought it would be fun for it to be a surprise for her. Boy was I wrong! I think all the people staring and making a big deal was too much pressure. Mostly she just cried the whole time. Except for when she opened all her presents and got to eat cake. Then she was happy!

Ok, so my big confession is that I was a huge strawberry shortcake fan when I was a little girl. I think that's why I've been so excited for this new generation of modernized strawberry shortcake to be around now. I think Kels loves her as much as I did. I know its all a little cheesy. Actually one of the presents from Kels's party made me sob. It was from my mom (Grammy Jo). It melted my heart that she kept them all these years and I had no idea.
