Dentist

Kelsie had her first dentist appointment this week. It pretty much went as expected. We're really lucky that Brittany works there (Burg Pediatric Dentistry). Kailee was already there when we showed up. Kels felt so cool sitting by Kailee in the chair mostly because there was a tv in the ceiling and it was showing the aristocats (one of Kels' favorite movies). Dr. Boren came in and checked Kailee out first. Everything was fine until Kailee was done and sat up in the chair. That's when Kels LOST it. It was no longer the cool chair. So I had to hold her facing me and then lay her in his lap so he could check her out. Of course she cried but it wasn't the holy crap the worlds ending cry, it was more like a some stranger guy with a weird mask has his fingers in my personal space cry. Can't say I blame her. :) But then she got done and they gave her a cool prize and then she was back to loving it there. The details are: even though she got teeth late, she's all caught up for her age. We need to brush better along the gum lines - big surprise. And try to cut off the binky by age 3. Awesome.
